LAKE FOREST, IL – Impact, a marketplace leader in the business process optimization space, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Ashley Carnes, Director, Sales Strategy to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list. The executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Ashley Carnes is a seven-year Impact veteran who began her career shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. Since then, she has been promoted four times and crowned with multiple sales achievements including Rookie of the Year in 2012 and a Sales Management advancement in 2015. As the first female Sales Manager of the company, Carnes led her team to double-digit growth in under three years, and broke ground into the $3 million and $4 million sales revenue ranks. Following the success of leading and grooming a sales team, Carnes has had the chance to share her expertise with every branch and division of the company by taking on corporate selling strategy and developing the educational development division at Impact.

“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”

“Ashley has had an integral role in the growth and evolution of Impact and our sales strategy,” said Impact CEO, Frank Cucco. “She is an extremely hard worker, and we are excited to watch her grow in her new role and develop our education division further.”
