Impact Networking is Founded

Impact Networking was founded in 1999 as a Kyocera dealer in Chicago's North Suburb of Waukegan, Illinois. At the time, Impact provided sales of products and services with in-house technicians.

Document Printing

Impact Networking began to integrate Document Printing as part of our solutions and services.


November 1, 2000

Impact Networking Becomes the Largest Kyocera Mita Dealer in the Midwest

Using Impact's "Sales Philosophy" Formula for Success, Impact Networking became the mid-west’s largest Kyocera Mita dealer within a year of Impact Networking's inception.


June 10, 2001

Impact Networking's "Hands-on" Bring NBC "Thumbs Up"

Tom Lajeunesse and Robert Fisher appear on NBC showcasing the new hands-on showroom at the downtown Chicago office.

July 1, 2001

Impact Networking Expands to Downtown Chicago

Impact Networking unveils a new digital showroom at 55 W. Monroe St Chicago. A joint venture with Kyocera Mita Corporation, the 6,000 sq. ft. space will showcase laser printers, wide format printers and more in the 'try-before-you-buy' lab. Impact still exclusively deals Kyocera.

Impact Networking receives BTA, Business Technology Association Reseller of the Year Award for Category ll for outperforming dealers and VARs in four performance areas: Finance, Operations, Vision, and Industry & Community Involvement.

Impact Networking opens branch in Darien, IL

The Darien Branch houses 2 local Sales teams and a Service Technician team.

J.D. Power and Associates Certified Dealer - One of 10 Dealers Nationwide

Impact Networking was awarded a Kyocera Mita America Total Solution Providers nationwide who have demonstrated the ability to consistently deliver an outstanding customer experience for clients who buy and service their Kyocera device through Impact.

Impact Networking is recognized as Kyocera Premier Dealer

Impact Networking is recognized as a 2004 Kyocera Premier Dealer, representing Kyocera'a best dealers. Qualifications include year over year sales growth, achievement of annual printer and supply targets, and achievement of an aggressive annual total purchase quota. Less than 10% of all Kyocera Dealers attain this award.

Impact Networking Joined Certified Copier Dealer Program

The J.D. Power and Associated Certified Copier Dealer distinction signifies excellence in sales and service satisfaction. Becoming a J.D. Power and Associates Certified Dealer means that our dealership performs at a national-benchmark level of customer satisfaction as measured by the firm's independent Copier Customer Satisfaction Study.

Impact Networking Opened Distribution Center and Warehouse in Lake Forest

The Lake Forest Distribution Center houses the Warehouse, Assembly, Scanning, Parts and Distribution Center and our IT Department.

Impact Networking Acquired Kubichek Office Products Group

Impact Networking acquires Kubichek Office Products Group in Southern Wisconsin, and in the process is the start of Impact Networking and Konica Minolta partnership. With offices in Madision and Brookfield, Impact will now have a major presence in Southern Wisconsin and the Greater Milwaukee area. Kubicheck has over 40 employees and, over $7 million in annual sales, and has a loyal customer base after serving the region more than 70 years.

Impact Networking Acquired Borchew Design Group

At the end of 2007, Impact Networking acquired a full service web development firm that they had been outsourcing their marketing and website development needs for the past 8 years. The now in-house creative services group is Impact’s ‘Design and Marketing solution’, handling all of Impact's design and marketing needs as well as acts as an independent agency, taking on outside clients.

Impact Networking Expanded to Indianapolis

Impact Networking’s Indianapolis office is led by General Manager and Partner, Chris Zvirbulis. The Indianapolis branch started with a team of 7 people.

Impact Networking received Dealer of the Year- Perfect Image Award

Impact Networking receives the Perfect Image Award for Dealer of the Year at the ITEX conference 2008. They also are awarded with Most Innovative Customer Retention Program, and Best Implementation of Technology Strategies.

Impact Networking Scores with Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks and Impact Networking have entered into a new, multi-year corporate sponsorship that gives Impact Networking a significant presence during all Blackhawks home games at the United Center, including dasherboards, LED displays and sponsorship of the NHL Impact Plays of the Week.

Letters to Santa expansion

In a unique expansion of its participation with the Chicago Sun-Times' annual Season of Sharing: Letters to Santa program, Impact Networking all-out adopted the school, providing gifts to each student in Pickard's head start- through fourth-grade classes. Through year-round initiatives, including voluntary employee payroll deduction, Impact exceeded its goal of collecting $10,000 and is purchasing more than 900 toys, allowing most of the 432 participating students to receive two or three gifts this year.

Impact Networking earns CompTIA Industry Trustmark

The CompTIA Managed Print Services Community focuses on the creation of standards and initiatives specific to the managed print services industry. The group was created to provide networking opportunities among industry thought leaders, as well as to create beneficial tools and programs for managed print services providers.

Platinum Partner Status- DocuWare

The Impact Networking Document Printing team was awarded Platinum level DocuWare Partner status. Platinum is the highest of four Partner levels of the DocuWare program, achieved through sales and clearly defined sales activities. Impact Networking joins a prestigious group of only 11 companies in North and South America to receive Platinum level status, and is the only company in our markets.

Chicago Loop Office moved to Michigan Avenue

Impact Networking’s Chicago branch moved to a new building in the Loop, located at 150 North Michigan Avenue. The new location has an 8,000 sq. ft. office space, and increased their capacity from 12 work stations to 30.

Impact Networking celebrates new Headquarters groundbreaking

The 20,000-square-foot, two-story office building at 13875 W. Boulton Blvd. will house administrative, IT, two sales teams, dispatch and services and C-level employees when completed at the end of 2015. The new corporate headquarters will sit across the street from the iconic 40,000-square-foot distribution center located at 13860 W. Boulton Blvd., which opened in 2007.

Impact Networking acquires NorthShore Business Technology, a Konica Minolta office equipment dealer headquartered in Kenosha, WI. NorthShore has been in business for more than 75 years, allowing them to build strong relationships with more than 2,500 customers. NorthShore has branches in Kenosha, WI., Rockford, IL., and Peru, IL. Read more

Fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology throughout, the 20,000-square-foot, two-story new corporate headquarters located across from our Lake Forest Warehouse is now open. Headquarters will be home to Administration, IT, Dispatch and Services, C-Level executives and two sales teams, as well as housing a technology showroom.

Impact Networking, LLC, the preeminent intelligent business automation provider in the Midwest, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Illinois Paper & Copier Company of Bolingbrook, Illinois. The significance of this purchase is that we are now the 8th largest Copier dealer in the U.S.A and the 270th largest privately held company In Illinois.

Impact becomes a Ricoh partner and vendor

Following the acquisition of Illinois Paper & Copier Company, Impact became a Ricoh partner and vendor. This new relationship allowed for additional growth opportunities that a Ricoh partnership could provide, especially through the diversification of new digital office equipment offerings.

Located near the southernmost end of the Chicago metropolitan area, Hammond is a growing and thriving city that serves as an excellent location for expansion and future development. Impact announced the grand opening of the Hammond branch in a brand-new, modern facility located on Carlson Drive.
