|Impact will first work with your local, on-premise appliances to recover data. Next, we will boot your servers in our data center and enable VPN connections. In either case, you’ll have near-immediate access to your data and you will be up and running and ready for end users to get to work. Once the disaster is over, Impact will work to restore the most recent versions of your server infrastructure back to your hardware.||Impact will boot your servers in our data center and enable VPN connections, so you’ll have near-immediate access to your data and you will be up and running and ready for end users to get to work. All Impact Backup and Data Recovery (BDR) solutions are 100% turnkey, meaning installation, configuration and complete management of the backup systems are done by Impact with minimal client involvement. Key features of our backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions include:
- Image-based backups of the entire OS, including all applications, configurations and data.
- The ability to restore everything exactly as it was prior to the emergency.
- Servers are restored in a predetermined amount of time (typically 3 hours or less).
- Clients can request a file restore during our normal business hours via the Impact MIT Help Desk. All backups are software validated and verified and all backup alerts are monitored by software and Impact Help Desk analysts. All backup issues are reported to the client and remediated as soon as they are known.
