Modalities of Learning

Performance-Centric Learning Philosophy

The 70-20-10 model holds that people obtain 70% of their knowledge from on-the-job experience, 20% from social learning exposure, and 10% from traditional instruction. The ILI defines business and performance goals alongside skill and learning gaps, and then uses this model to fill those gaps and ensure on-the-job success.

Shoulder-to-Shoulder Field Support

Educational support while performing your job function allows you to put theories to practice right away while still being given guidance by our instructors and mentorship by Impact's leaders. Grow within your role, take on projects that stretch your abilities, and keep developing your skillset.

Digital Self-Paced Learning

Get access to training support in real-time, in your moment of need, for optimal performance and learn at the pace that works for you with self-enrolled courses, quizzes, and refreshers.

In-Person Learning Experiences

Benefit from the viewpoints of your peers as well as the teacher's experience while learning together with Impact's face-to-face professional development opportunities. These enriching experiences offer moments of explosive insights and growth in addition to functioning as cultural touchstones for every team.

Prominent Programming

Employee Onboarding

The ILI owns the new employee experience. Our live Foundations course connects new talent to the history and vision of Impact and introduces key teams such as human resources and internal IT. It all comes together to make sure new hires feel comfortable and confident as they start their journey with Impact.

Ongoing Education

Upskilling for Career Growth

From hard and technical skills to soft, leadership-focused skills, the Impact Leadership Institute offers opportunities to grow your career in the direction that's right for you. We have partnerships with Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Azure, Adobe, and others to ensure each employee learns from the specialists who can help them the most. We also regularly invest in employee certifications so they can advance to the next step in their career. Additionally, we offer workshops for leaders at all levels to interact with managers, directors, and above and improve their abilities in public speaking, coaching, and more.

Sales Enablement

Dedicated Resources for Consultative Sellers

Supporting a consultative sales engine is a top priority for the ILI. Investments in specialized selling experts who give real-time coaching around skills, processes, and technology have bridged the gap between the classroom and the field. This team is responsible for the management of an 18-month program advancing sellers through a series of experiences hyper-focused on sales skills, industry knowledge, business acumen, and business model expertise.

Managed IT Training

Cultural Grounding for Technical Specialists

Impact's managed IT specialists come to us with a strong level of technical knowledge. Our three-day MIT Core course comes shortly after onboarding, ensuring that they fully understand how that fits into their new role at Impact. It goes over everything they need to know to thrive here, including understanding the depth and breadth of our IT team, learning how those teams all work together to best serve the client, and getting direct access to leadership for any questions they have now or in the future.

APEX

Impact's Learning Management System

Impact's new learning management system, APEX, is your source for self-service with the ILI. In it, employees can access customized learning paths, quizzes, and lessons, all updated with the newest, most up-to-date material so it's as easy as possible to stay ahead of the curve.
