Impact was founded on a simple idea: partnership. We provide long-term, world-class service for our clients. By investing in the development and training of our employees, we build teams of passionate experts who are forging the future of business technology.
In 1999, Frank Cucco, Dan Meyer, and Nate Robinson realized that not all business partnerships needed to end once a sale was final. In fact, companies need continuous service and support to achieve their goals. While many elements of Impact have evolved over the years, that core idea remained the same. Our approach focuses on understanding our clients so our spirited team of experts can implement unique, innovative solutions to help build brighter futures.
Our History
With hundreds of experts, multiple locations across the country, five managed services, and thousands of clients, Impact has come a long way from our first “office” in Waukegan, Illinois. But we’re just getting started, as we continue to expand and introduce new services and solutions every year.
From Three Guys in a Garage to 900+ Employees
Impact’s mission is to empower our clients through holistic managed services that balance innovative technology solutions with expert strategies, exceptional service, and a positive and curious mindset. We believe in becoming a trusted partner that continuously delivers measurable results to unlock every business’ fullest potential and set them on a path toward unimaginable growth.
In our aim to be the world’s largest managed service provider, we want to build a world where every business has access to the crucial tools, technologies, and expertise they need to grow and compete at the top of their industry. To do this, we know that we not only need to help businesses, but we need to help our people become the best versions of themselves, too.
Having passionate, knowledgeable, dynamic people is what makes Impact special. That’s why, in 2018, we founded the Impact Leadership Institute to create a culture of learning and give our people the resources they need to develop new skills and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.
Each year, everybody at Impact is given a day off to make a difference in their communities, wherever they may be. That difference can be to clean up, work with charities, donate money, and do whatever else they can to help.
To make everybody feel included and heard, we’ve founded multiple employee resource groups (ERGs) to create community, provide support and resources, and foster a more inclusive workplace throughout the company.
More than just a company, Impact is a community of people who love what they do, and that stems from building a culture based around collaboration, teamwork, and fun. That’s why we love rewarding the work our employees do with yearly all-company meetings, team trips, and other incentives to reward the good work and passion that keeps us moving forward.
Impact believes in uplifting the communities in which we live and work across the country. Whether we’re donating our time or resources, the goal of the Impact Foundation is to support the people and organizations within those communities; to foster their dreams, goals, and visions of building a better world.
Impact is a place for all. We strive every day to build a company that is inclusive, collaborative, and welcoming, so everybody is comfortable and able to make the most of themselves and their ideas. But we also know this job is never done. It’s something we are committed to and must work toward every day.
Work With UsBeing a helpful, active part of the communities in which we live is a core tenet of who we are. From sponsoring local sports teams to providing opportunities for children to learn and explore, we’re proud of the positive footprint we’ve left behind in our local neighborhoods.
To empower the next generation of technology leaders, Impact U. was founded to support underserved schools by providing the tools their students need to explore technology and learn more about the industry.
Impact is proud to participate in the Letters to Santa program, which takes letters that children in less fortunate households write to Santa and connects them to anonymous adults who can buy the gifts for them.
Impact jumped at the chance to help the Rondout School District revitalize its local wetlands, cleaning them up and making them more accessible for students to explore and learn about.
